India region-wise has an unprecedented and uniquely diverse culture, religion, language, food, etc. With a history of a rich and fascinating past.

It was quite natural for me to keep some of India’s bygone era’s memory alive by displaying it through my collection of antique and vintage prints and images on this site.

Although the collection may not be too extensive. But fascinating enough to know what India was like in the past and how much it has evolved today.

The collection consists of varied mediums, photos, postcards, prints, maps, etc. Focusing mainly on India and a major part on Bombay, but no less on Madras, Delhi, and so on.

The other subjects in the collection include railways, RailwaysRoyalty. Some of the Prints and Maps are from as early as the 1700s. And some photos and postcards as back as the 1870s.

Also displayed in this site is a rare 1894 1st edition oleograph of Raja Ravi Varma’s “Birth of Shakuntala.” Complete with its original wooden frame and glass measuring 3½ x 2½ feet and weighs 10 kgs.

There are No copies or replicas in the collection unless otherwise specified. Take a look and hope you enjoy.
