Two 1900s postcards of two horse-drawn trams during the British Era in Bombay (Mumbai). The first postcard shows a horse-drawn tram at the Colaba Causeway. With the Church of the Holy Name on the left. The second postcard also shows horse-drawn tram but on Hornby Road with Flora Fountain visible on the left.

The magnificent conical roofed building at the back is the Oriental Building. Pivotally located facing Flora Fountain at the crossroads of Hornby and Esplanade roads. Built in 1885, it was probably one of the first few buildings to come up at the Flora Fountain junction. It was designed by one of Bombay’s great architects F W Stevens. Stevens is best known for his work on the famous Victoria Terminus building in Bombay.
