View of Bombay From Chowpatty, 1900 Postcard

This beautiful 1900 postcard with a view of a once-pristine Bombay (Mumbai) from Chowpatty Beach. The famous landmarks that are visible are the Bombay High Court, Secretariat, Raja Bai Clock Tower, and so on. The foreground water is the Back Bay area, a curving shoreline stretching from Malabar Point to Colaba. The Marine Drive and Promenade occupy a major portion of this shoreline. It ends near the southern side of  Chowpatty Beach. Click on the photo for better view.
