1964 M. Suriyamoorthy Charcoal Art Abstract (#13)
1964 M. Suriyamoorthy Charcoal Art Abstract (#13). This is an M. Suriyamoorthy’s charcoal art abstract. The charcoal drawing is signed and dated “M. Suriyamoorthy 2/11 64”, the subject inferred is a family of four. Suriyamoorthy’s artworks are eye-catching and lean more towards Picasso’s style.
He could be termed as India’s Picasso. The poster measures 29×20 inches. I was fortunate to collect many of his charcoal drawings. See details of them in the Raja Ravi Varma Oleographs & Other Art Category. He was born in Tamil Nadu, Southern India in 1944.
Being a professional artist, he derived his own distinct style. With women being centralized in most of his art. His paintings and art have won many awards in India and abroad. Art galleries and museums in Europe and America exhibited his paintings.
The genuineness of Suriyamoorhty’s artworks leaps out at the viewer and appeals in a way like no other. Read more about him- Behind The Frame M. Suriyamoorthy., and M SURIYAMOORTHY. See my post- 1964 M. Suriyamoorthy Charcoal Art Abstract (#12).
Did you know- Suriyamoorthy’s works are now in Museums and art galleries in India and abroad.
