This is a well illustrated book on Old Delhi that narrates 10 easy walks of its heritage sites. Written by two British authors Gaynor Barton and Laurraine Malone. The aim was to encourage people to explore the city with its rich and colourful history. The walk includes Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Turkman Gate, and so on.

See my post- The Outskirts Of Delhi Jama Masjid – Old Print 1800s.

The city contains so much of immense interest. It was first started with a walled city called Shahjahanabad in 1639. When Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal capital from Agra. And rechristened by the British to its present name. The book is well illustrated with photos, sketches and maps.
