Casino Hotel In Willingdon Island Cochin, 1968 Postcard
This is an old 1968 postcard of Casino Hotel in Willingdon Island, Cochin (Kochi). Though named “Casino” the hotel has nothing to do with casino games or gambling. It is a regular 5-star luxury hotel catering primarily to tourists from India and abroad. Situated on Willingdon Island of Kochi, it was established in the 1950s. And is a part of a group of hotels and resorts that are located around touristy areas of the countryside.
Its in-house restaurants are one of the major attractions for Kerala cuisine. This picture postcard of the hotel is from a 1968 painting by Morris Keitz.
