Two old 1905 postcards of Princess Street during the British Era in Bombay (Mumbai). Princess Street leading to Lohar Chawl was created as an extension to to connect to Crawford Market. The Street was opened by, George, Prince of Wales in 1905, thus named Princess Street. The Prince and Princess of Wales (later King George VII and Queen Mary) visited in 1905.
