Time stands still in this book “Images Of Hyderabad Vol II”, it is all about Hyderabad and the Nizams. As the saying goes “A Picture is worth a thousand words” applies fittingly here. This book album displays around 600 and more images. It covers the periods from the 19th century to the 20th century (the 1960s).
The photos were primarily taken by Raja Deen Dayal, the official photographer to the Nizams. Hyderabad also evolved in the style of the colonial British empire style. Polo matches, club dances, banquets for the British, and tiger hunting, to name a few. The surrounding areas of parts of Maharastra and Karnataka were under the then Hyderabad state. This book is now a rarity.
