This book was brought out by The Central Publicity Bureau (Railway Board) Delhi, dating to around 1939. A handy information book from the British for tourists that arrived in India. A pictorial tour of- Western, Rajputana, Northern,  North-Western, Eastern, and Southern India.

Information on Indian statistics, steamship route to India, how to see and arrive in India, air services, where to stay. It includes a tourist map. Generally a sophisticated tourist handbook for its time. Going through the pages we go back nostalgically to the golden days of this country, where everything had its own pace.
